GlobalPos’s experienced in-house technicians provide servicing, calibration and repairs for total stations, rotating lasers, optical and digital levels, and theodolites.
Each instrument is carefully assessed and tested to help maintain reliable performance in the field. Calibration certificates are supplied for applicable work, providing a clear record of the checks completed.
Service Options & Pricing
Total Station Instrument Service
$850 + GST
Includes:
- Tribrach dismantled, cleaned, regreased and reassembled
- Tangent screws overhauled on manual instruments
- Compensator checked for repeatability and range
- EDM checked against multiple targets and distances (EDM adjustment and baseline testing not included)
- Horizontal and vertical accuracy checked and adjusted
- Trunnion, optical or laser plummet, and all bubbles checked and adjusted
- Latest firmware installed where available
- Full functional test performed to the manufacturer’s specifications
Total Station Calibration
$500 + GST
Field calibration performed on a high-accuracy collimation range.
Includes:
- Horizontal and vertical accuracy checked and adjusted
- Trunnion checked
- Optical or laser plummet checked and adjusted
- Digital and physical bubbles checked and adjusted

$120 + GST
Cleaning and calibration to help maintain dependable measurements and consistent field performance.
Lasers & Auto Levels
$90 + GST
Cleaning and calibration to help maintain reliable levelling and alignment in the field.
Equipment Rental While Yours Is Being Serviced
Keep working while your equipment is being serviced with rental equipment from GlobalPos. We will arrange a suitable replacement from our available fleet based on your equipment and project requirements. Data collectors can also be configured and project files loaded before dispatch where required.
