A Magnetic Locator is a hand-held, lightweight tool that detects buried metallic objects at depths of up to 20 feet. Any metal object buried in the ground that has ferrous content will distort the Earth’s magnetic field and appear to acquire a field of its own. A Magnetic Locator detects the difference between the ferrous object’s field and the Earth’s magnetic field.

Maggie combines the best features of two flagship Schonstedt products: the sensitivity and precision of the GA-52Cx, and the single-handed operation of the GA-92XT.
